How SQE2 is assessed

Marking
Skills and application of law
Every station is graded twice, once for legal skills and once for application of law. The two are weighted equally, and there is one overall pass mark for SQE2.

How a task works
Write it the way you will on the day
The partner's instructions sit beside an answer template. The clock runs to the paper's time limit and your draft saves as you type.
When you submit, you see the sample answer next to your own and a marking checklist, then grade yourself A to F for skills and for application of law, as SQE2 markers do.
